St. Aidan’s sits within the traditional homeland of the Chumash people.
We respect and honor past, present, and future generations of Chumash and their continued connection to this land. We are grateful to gather in this beautiful place and we give our respect to its first inhabitants.

This year, Lauren Begert, Pastor for Campus & Community Engagement will be hosting a Hybrid Devotional study each Wednesday during Lent at 12:00pm, beginning 2/25. Together, we will work through Kate Bowler's Devotional Book: Have A Beautiful Terrible Day!: Daily Meditations for the Ups, Downs & In-Betweens, with specific attention to the days written for Lent. These daily devotional readings are designed to help us step into spiritual honesty. Of her Lenten Devotional, Dr. Bowler writes: "We can look on this tragicomedy with love and bemusement as we wait for the someday that will be God's promised future. There, God's kingdom comes. God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And in the meantime, there's this...our beautiful, terrible days" (Bowler, 97). For registration and more information, please review and complete the registration form.
Join us at Saint Aidan’s Episcopal Church for a two-part forum with Lauren Begert, Pastor for Campus and Community Engagement, as we explore the ideas of service, mutuality, and hospitality through a theological lens. Together, we’ll reflect on how our understanding of service can grow into deeper mutual relationships, and how practicing genuine hospitality can lead to meaningful communal transformation. This engaging conversation will invite thoughtful discussion and practical insight for our life together as a church. The forum will be held on February 22 and March 22 at 11:15 a.m. in Elder Hall at Saint Aidan’s. All are welcome—come be part of the conversation!
