The campus of St. Aidan’s appears to have been spared by the fire which brought loss to so many in our community. At least eleven members of our parish family have lost their homes. Our campus remains closed during the ongoing mandatory evacuation of Malibu.
Our phones are operational (forwarded). Please call us at 310-457-7966 if you need to speak with any of our clergy or staff. All regularly scheduled events are canceled until further notice. Any changes will be posted here and announced to our Tidings mailing list and on Facebook. Please email email@example.com to be added to the mailing list.
Attention all St. Aidan's parishioners (and their kids and neighbors) who have been dislocated by the Woolsey Fire!
The Rev. Dr. Joyce Stickney and the clergy of St. Aidan's are hosting an evening meal and a time of prayer for you!
The gathering is co-hosted by the clergy of the Church of the Epiphany and will take place at the Epiphany campus Wednesday, Nov. 14, 5-7 pm, at 5450 Churchwood Drive, Oak Park, CA. All Malibu "refugees" are welcome!
"We want to offer support and love to those suffering with loss at this tragic time," said Rev. Joyce. "We also want to be available to help determine the needs of those who have been effected."
Rev. Joyce also wants to share a link to a FEMA video which explains how to register for FEMA assistance. This should be done by all affected whether or not they know their home has been lost. The link is:
For more information call St. Aidan's at 310-457-7966 and follow the prompts to speak with either Rev. Joyce or Parish Administrator Nathaniel Sherrill.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." -- Psalm 46:1.
At St. Aidan's, we follow a seasonal calendar that guides our meditation, worship, and gatherings.
All are welcome to join us for our gatherings.
