Welcome
Mission Statement
"St. Aidan's seeks to be the welcoming heart,
hands and voice of Christ in Malibu."
Message from the Rector
| We extend to you a warm St. Aidan's welcome! “St. Aidan’s Church is just a step away from paradise…” quoted parishioner Hal Tucker. Situated just across the street from Paradise Cove in Malibu, people from all walks of life have been drawn to this community of faith. We invite you to visit, worship with us, get to know us and discern whether this may be a place of spiritual nurture and service for you. St. Aidan’s is an “open church”, meaning that we welcome skeptics and seekers as well as committed believers. We trust that when two or three are gathered, Christ is there also! Inspired by the good news of Jesus Christ, we seek to love
and transform the world we live in, celebrating God's creation
around us, and the image of God in every individual. We hope
our website offers you a glimpse of who we are in response to
the good news of Jesus Christ. May God bless each of us on our
earthly pilgrimage. |

Pastoral Care
At
St. Aidan's we seek to be Christ to one another, even and especially
in times of need. Every Sunday prayers are lifted up for family and
friends who have been added to our parish prayer list. The clergy are
available to visit those in the hospital and to take communion to those
unable to come to church. A host of Licensed Lay Eucharistic Ministers
also engage in the ministry. In addition, there is a group
of parishioners who, as members of “The Order of St. Luke,
the Physician” dedicate themselves to the practice of healing
prayer for those in need.
We trust that in the words of the psalmist, "The Lord is an ever present help in need." (Psalm 46:1). The rite of the anointing of the sick is administered for healing of any kind; physical, emotional, relational, by proxy, etc. This rite and other sacraments are instruments of God's grace and healing.
Please see the Sacraments page for a more Pastoral Care information and The Healing Ministry of Jesus to read more about the “Order of St. Luke, the Physician” at St. Aidan’s.
